![]() ![]() Now, I've only played a few hours to date but I am already really enjoying it enough to want to tell people about it, so please, no spoilers if you could. Now this isn't a dig at map markers in general, because at the scale of some open world games I see an actual need for that sort of thing, but I'm enjoying it regardless. And for every class, playthough is different. It gives you opportunities to play hack&smash warrior, charming and cunning rogue, or mind-reading mind-blowing mage. It constantly checks your stats and allows one of the classes to read minds of the others. I'm also getting a kick out of the lack of map markers which means I have to actually remember where to find things and people. The graphical style top down explorably rich environments that echo the early Fallout games and Baldur's Gate (some of my favourite of all time), text heavy investigations where actually reading the dialogue helps, the RPG format (having played Numenera as a tabletop thing) that is well balanced and interesting, and a consequence based set of actions that impact outcomes. So I just wanted to put this one out here because it just hit the Xbox Game Pass and it is ticking a lot of boxes for me.
